    Jack Link's...A Good Cut Food?

    Hi everyone,

This is my first mail service hither and I will be cutting from 220 to 175 starting tomorrow. I've been reading up on little tips and tricks for it and was wondering what would make a good grazing nutrient?

At my work I can get a 3.5oz handbag of Jack Link'due south beef jerky for $2, then I eat information technology all the time. Would you guys consider this a proficient food to cut on and continue my metabolism upwards, every bit well as a good source of protein?

Here are the stats: (Brindled Flavor)

    Nutritional Facts:
    Serving Size: 1oz (28g)
    Servings Per Container: About 3.5
    Amount Per Serving
Calories fourscore Calories from Fat 10
    Daily Value
    Full Fatty 1g two %
    Saturated Fat 0g 0 %
    Trans Fat 0g 0%
    Cholesterol 25mg viii %
    Sodium 600mg 25 %

Love beef jerkey, but exist mindful of all the sodium. Sodium volition increase your h2o retentiveness.

I dont consume information technology very oftentimes because of the sodium content. I have still to find depression sodium jerkey or I would eat information technology ofttimes.

Yes its a good cut food, its filling, low on calories and carbs, don't worry about the sodium every bit long as you drink plenty of h2o everyday, shoot for a gallon to a gallon and a one-half, manage your sodium intake throughout the solar day i.e don't go overboard with seasonings on other foods you lot may melt, watch for the canned stuff, and on the other hand, depending on if you lot do cardio and how intense that is, y'all may observe information technology beneficial to add more sodium to your nutrition to replenish electrolytes lost when sweating, only my 02.

I beloved the stuff, and equally others said the sodium isn't too much of a concern. Unless you know you're the type of person who drinks a quart of water a mean solar day and adds salt to everything, non too much of a concern. I beverage a gallon-gallon and a one-half a day and rarely use salt so its non a worry for me. Ane problem though, SHIITS EXPENSIVE!! lol

For a snack yea information technology wouldn't exist too bad. I was thinking of it as a meal. Definitely too much to be a staple in one's diet, but as you said I guess for a snack or on occasion, not too bad

i find Jack links to be swell for trunk building, if you lot go to jacksgirl.com they are running a comp at the min to find the new face up of jack links which is a bonus! information technology might also help you find out more about the nutritional benefits every bit information technology helped me

Jack Links is junk. Look at the ingredients... corn syrup, msg, corn & soy protein, sodium nitrate! All crap. Oberto is all natural at least, but we could debate if the sugar is GMO and how the beef is raised.

Corn Syrup Solids, Stale Soy Sauce (Soybeans, Table salt, Wheat), Hydrolyzed Corn and Soy Poly peptide, Monosodium Glutamate, Maltodextrin, Flavorings, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite.

    I won't consume Jacks crap
